Manufacturing
With the modular process, units such as rooms, bathrooms etc. are manufactured away from the site in a climate-controlled environment. Once made, the prefabricated units are transported to the actual site, where the base has already been built. The units get stacked into place by crane, at which point workers complete the building on-site including connecting electrical, plumbing and other finishing work. Unlike traditional methods, this process avoids time-consuming challenges that can delay construction such as skilled labour shortages and poor weather.
